This past weekend I took the opportunity to enjoy a burst of cold weather with a warm blanket, a roaring fire, and a good book--Andrea Boeshaar's Threads of Faith. This is actually book 2 of Andrea's Fabric of Time series, but the first novel written by her that I've had the privilege of reading. I gladly tell you book 1 is in the mail. :)
This was a well-spun, heartwarming story set in 1877 involving a handsome, American sea captain and a fleeing, spunky, English maid. The antagonist was not who I expected, and although there were some things I could easily guess, I never tired of turning pages. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who wants a good, easy, enjoyable read.
