Question: What is two feet wide, towers far above your head, and can bury you in a second?
Answer: A closet full of games. :)
Now that I'm over being sick, I'm helping my sister. Her kids wanted to play games last night, so I raided the game closet. Of course, the game I wanted resided third from the top--a good three feet or more beyond my reach.
We fetched the step-stool.
I climbed up.
Then life got interesting.
I figured, "Okay, I'll slide mine out and push the rest back." Yeah. Easier said than done. Next thing I know, the games above rush toward me and the others underneath start slipping out as well. My balance is completely thrown off. I'm shoving games up only to have more tumble out at me. One of the kids had to pull me from behind (more than once), so I could regain my balance. Finally, I'm able to return things to rights after I nearly drop an armload of boxes. Believe it or not, but I only had one game slip past me. :)
P.S. For those of you wondering "what game was it?", it was Twister Hoopla. :) (The tangle to follow proved just as amusing. :) )

What is Love?
Love is the gentle wind after a storm.
Love is the majestic sunrise after the night.
Love is the clear meadow after the forest.
Love is the cool evening after the zenith.
Love is....
Love is the hand that holds when you stumble.
Love is the arms that carry when you fall.
Love is the voice that soothes when you cry.
Love is the heart that forgives when you fail.
Love is....
Love is the joy of a smile,
the life of a kiss,
the care of a hug,
the calm of a prayer.
Love is....
Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous;
love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly;
it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered,
does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth;
bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
(I Corinthians 13:4-7, NASB)

God Already Knew
Before Joseph was betrayed by his brothers...
God already knew.
Before he landed in that dark and lonely pit...
God already knew.
Before he was sold into slavery...
God already knew.
Before he was unjustly thrown into jail ...
God already knew.
Before he rose to second in command of the whole nation of Egypt...
God already knew.
Before you received that disparaging news...
God already knew.
Before you cried...
God already knew.
Before...
God knew.
No matter what you have faced, are facing, or will face...
- Remember -
God sees, God knows, and most important God cares.
"O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I rise up; You understand my thought from afar. You scrutinize my path and my lying down, and are intimately acquainted with all my ways. Even before there is a word on my tongue, behold, O Lord, You know it all." ~ David (Psalm 139:1-4)
